CZ Dne 23. listopadu 2024 byla mezi zastvkami Popovice u Uherskho Hradit a Vsky zachycena prototypov lokomotiva T478.1001 v ele pravidelnho rychlku R 888 Luhaovice - Praha hl.n. Nasazen do pravidelnho provozu probhlo v rmci oslav 60. let od vroby tohoto prototypu. Vzhledem k nemonosti vytpn soupravy parnm genertorem PG 500, kterm lokomotiva disponuje, byla na konci soupravy azena lokomotiva 754.077.EN On 23 November 2024, a prototype locomotive T478.1001 was photographed with the fast train R 888 Luhaovice - Praha hl.n between the stops Popovice u Uherskho Hradit and Vsky. The locomotive was put into regular service as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the production of this prototype. Due to the impossibility of heating the set with the PG 500 steam generator, which the locomotive has, locomotive 754.077 was placed at the end of the set.
